As part of a strategic initiative aimed at developing the vocational skills of young people, the project entitled “Improving the Social, Economic, and Educational Opportunities of the Vulnerable Community in Duhok Governorate in Iraqi Kurdistan” was successfully implemented by Rwanga Foundation, with financial support from the Italian Catholic Church and the Government of Italy.
Today, during the closing ceremony held in Duhok, 35 young participants were awarded certificates for completing vocational training courses in Automotive Mechanics and Solar Energy Installation.
The project aimed to empower young people by equipping them with practical skills to support their entry into the labour market and enable them to contribute to sectors currently in high demand within society.
