With the goal of improving and fostering the potential of the youth, Rwanga Awards strives to discover talents, to strengthen confidence and to collect all types of artistic, literary, and scientific projects created and developed throughout the Kurdistan region. Rwanga Foundation accepts the submission of Eight different categories by young people from all over Kurdistan (including refugees and IDPs) aged between 15 and 25 years.. The categories for submission are  Photography, Recycling Arts, Short Film, Solo Musician, Short Story writing, Entrepreneurship, Drawing and Scientific Invention.

Shivan khatab Khaleed from Erbil – in the Recycled Art category

Jamsheer Ekram Saaed from TosKhurmatw – in the Scientific Innovation category

Bahoz Ismail Abdullah from Koya – in the Short Film category

Ranj Rasul Raza from Garmian – in the Short Story category

Rabun Shabaan Saed from Erbil – in the Solo Musician category and

Faris Safar Muhamad from Kirkuk – in the Drawing category.
