Erbil, Kurdistan: Rwanga Foundation and the new Consul of Italy in Erbil (Dr. Alessandra Di Pippo) held a meeting with Rwanga Foundation to understand their projects/activities and the civil society organization roles in the community.
AbdulSalam Medeni, Chief Executive Director highlighted on Rwanga Foundation’s projects for past two years and the plan for 2016 especially about employment & capacity building for youth in Kurdistan, to provide them support and opportunity and to have a better role in the society.
The consul of Italy praised Rwanga Foundation for its projects and future plan of 2016 but at the same time wished to improve women’s skills and show their ability in the Kurdistan community. To conclude, the Consul of Italy expressed their support to assist NGOs in Kurdistan and especially to Rwanga Foundation.
