Duhok, Kurdistan. October 10, 2016 Rwanga Foundation in partnership with Act Now Children’s Fund ( ANCF) provided three schools with necessary kits for students and teachers in the camps of Essian, Germawa and Mam Rashan in Duhok Governorate.
The items included: (Student Desk, Whiteboard, Water cooler, Trash Cans, Teacher Desk, Sofa, Closet and Computers). The aim for the distribution of this support was to make sure the IDP’s children continue studying and also provide support to the teachers by creating a better environment for learning. The IDP’s in the camp were mostly Yazidis Arabs.
In total 5,019 students and teachers directly benefited from this aid and the teachers shared their gratitude for creating a suitable learning environment.
