Akre, Kurdistan. October 10, 2016 Rwanga Foundation in partnership with People’s Republic of China Consulate/ Erbil provided with necessary kits for students in the camp Mamilyan in Akre district/ Duhok Governorate.
The items included: Stationery Portfolio, a Color Pencil set, a Copybook, a Drawing Book and a Student Bag) The aim for the distribution of this support was to make sure the IDP’s children continue studying and also provide support to the teachers by creating a better environment for learning. The IDP’s in the camp were mostly Yazidis Arabs.
