
SULAIMANI, Kurdistan (April 18, 2017) - Rwanga Foras team provided trainings for people with disabilities in order to remove the barriers socially and connect them to the employers.
The four-hour trainings were part of the Rwanga Foras initiative to connect jobseekers with the employers, the trainings were held in Rozh Society for people with disabilities. Over 25 disabled members were trained on CV writing, Interview Skills, and Job Ethics. After the training, participants were encouraged to take online courses from the Foras website in order to improve their employability skills.
The Foras Project in Iraq, has been handed over to Rwanga Foundation in January 2016. The project, managed by Silatech, Microsoft and Rwanga Foundation, works all over Iraq to register companies, provide job opportunities and deliver training courses. The total direct beneficiaries for last year were 223,831 of whom majority were youths.
