Rwanga Foundation Offers Trainings to Blind People in Sulaimani

SULAIMANI, Kurdistan (April 26, 2017) -  Rwanga Foras team delivered the second training course for people with  disabilities in Rozh Society Hall, the target participants were blind people  including university students and fresh graduates.

 ''Focusing on people with disabilities, especially those who are not able to see was a big challenge. Fortunately, we were successful in our steps. The engagement between the trainer and the participants were at its best. The main idea was to avoid neglecting any type of class in our society. everybody has the right to get benefit from Rwanga Foundation projects including Rwanga-Foras.'' Said Sarko Ahmed, the Trainer.

The aim of thisfour-hour training was to enhance the capacity of the participants in their career life by supporting them to improve their skills in writing CV, interview skills, and their ethics at work place.

Barham, one of the trainees highlighted the importance of trainings and stated that CV writing was one of the skills that he was looking to improve. ''Before attending the training, I was not able to prepare a professional CV. Also, the training was a big motivation for me to be confident, start my career and improve myself.''

The Foras Project in Iraq, has been handed over to Rwanga Foundation in January 2016. The project, managed by Silatech, Microsoft and Rwanga Foundation, works all over Iraq to register companies, provide job opportunities and deliver training courses. The total direct beneficiaries for last year were 223,831 of whom majority were youths.
