Erbil, June 3, 2025 – Rwanga Foundation has officially launched a water distribution campaign targeting several neighborhoods in Erbil city that are currently experiencing water shortages.
The campaign is being implemented in support of the Kurdistan Regional Government’s emergency water project and will continue until the project is completed and the affected areas are connected to the main water network. The neighborhoods benefiting from this initiative include Shawes, Farmanbaran, Qalay Nwe, and Bnaslawa.
As part of this campaign, Rwanga Foundation is delivering clean water daily to 550 families. The effort is planned to continue for a duration of three months, ensuring sustained access to water for those most in need.
