Erbil, Kurdistan: On August 29, 2016. Rwanga Foundation within the framework of Rwanga Foras project has the pleasure to announce launching its first Job Fair successfully. The primary objective of the job fair was connecting the job seekers (mainly young and fresh graduates) with perspective employers and building a bridge of communication in the interest of both sides. Rwanga Foras Job Fair 2016 aimed to decrease the unemployment rate in Kurdistan Region and in Iraq generally and managed to gather 36 local/international companies and organizations from various sectors were present and 795 job vacancies were offered. The fair also provided Human Capacity Building training sessions delivered by experts and professionals to support the young participants in their future career.
The 36 job providers set up booths in order to present their interests, activities and products, as well as to gain access to a large number of non-traditional candidates in a one-stop environment. The Job Fair was sponsored by PHONETIC TONE (Diamond), PEPSI – LEGACY – HUAWEI – RIXOS – LIFE (Platinum), ROTANA – RUDAW – GEG – HAMA (Gold), and LC WAIKIKI, HALABJA GROUP, BABYLION, HAWKARI GROUP, SOUTH KURDISTAN GROUP (Silver).
