
Rwanga Foundation in partnership with UNICEF funded under the direct supervision of Kurdistan Region Government (KRG) conducted training sessions in order to strengthen the awareness capacity for KRG formulated task force units through two separate training workshops as per the following:
The first workshop “Training of Trainers on Hygiene Promotion for the Humanitarian Context” was organised in two batches, each training session lasted for three days with participation of 22 trainees per session. The first batch started from 08th to 10th December, 2015 and the second batch from 13th to 15th December, 2015 was organised in Darin Hotel, Erbil and Kurdistan.
The participants were the KRG formulated task force units from the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, Directorate of Water, Directorate of Sewerage, etc. The participants were selected by UNICEF in coordination with the respective Government authorities.
The training mainly focused on the following:
Hygiene Promotion Training of Trainers (TOT)
The second workshop “Environmental Journalism training” was organized in 2 batches, each training session lasted for (2) days, seven hours per day, with participation of 20 trainees per session. The first batch started from 19th to 20th December, 2015 and second batch from 21st to 22nd December,2015 was organized in High Crest Hotel, Sulaimani, Kurdistan.
The participants were the KRG formulated task force units from the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, Directorate of Water, Directorate of Sewerage, etc. The participants were selected by UNICEF in coordination with the respective Government authorities.
