Assisting 6000 Iraqi Displaced Families from Tal Afar

On 12 June 2014, as part of its continued emergency operations to assist the Iraqi displaced families, Rwanga Foundation distributed food packages and other basic needs to 6000 Iraqi displaced families who fled their area of origin in Tal Afar, Nineveh fear of war and attacks by the ISIS armed groups, and they arrived in Bahirka Camp, Erbil, Kurdistan.

The aid included 6,500 packages of food, 12,250 bottles of water, 650 ice blocks, 750 baby diapers, and 400 cans of baby milk, and the needed number of women sanitary napkins.
