DUHOK, Kurdistan — On August 20, 2014, Rwanga Foundation continued humanitarian assistance by distributing aid to Yazidis in Duhok governorate. The aid included 2,800 kitchen sets; 3,000 baby diapers; 2,160 containers of powdered milk and 700 mattresses.
Aid shipments were determined by what the most necessary daily needs are of the IDPs and given their requests.
The total Yazidi-IDP population based in Duhok governorate is approximately 80,000.
