Both countries’ governments agreed to pass on the aid to Rwanga for distribution to the IDPs. According to representatives from both countries, this is the first round of aid shipments and potentially more will follow for distribution to IDPs in Kurdistan with Rwanga acting as the on-the-ground partner organization.

The aid included 2,400 food packages; 500 blankets; 1,450 mattresses; 1,548 cans of powdered milk and 800 baby diapers.
