On the 2nd and 3rd of December 2014, Rwanga Foundation distributed aid to IDPs based in the Piramagrwn sub-districts of the Sulaimani governorate. The essentials were provided, including blankets and mattresses. The relentless attacks and threat of brutality from ISIS in the region has forced many into displacement, fleeing the Kurdistan region with nothing but the bare essentials. Distressingly, the winter season is now upon us; conditions continue to deteriorate with most of the IDPs still living in unfinished buildings.
The efforts of Rwanga and their aid provision continue to support those caught up in the conflict. The foundation’s aid has reached almost 7000 displaced people to date, with countless aid missions planned for the future.
