In their continued attempts to support martyred families, Rwanga Foundation has begun the support of families based in Sulaimani city and Halabja, more specifically across Sulaimani, Halabja, Said Sadiq, Penjwen, Sharbazher, Sharazwr and Dukan.
The father of one martyred Peshmarga showed his gratitude for Rwanga’s efforts. “We are getting $1000 and an appreciation certificate from Rwanga Foundation – it makes us feel proud that an organization cares about our feelings and shows their support to us – I hope others do the same and don’t leave us alone”.
Rwanga Foundation continues to provide support for the Peshmarga and their martyred families, both nationally and internationally, by organizing campaigns and activities to raise both financial and emotional support. After the campaign on 25th March, the first round of aid distribution commenced in the capital Erbil, closely followed by Sulaimani and Halabja, and will spread to other cities such as Kirkuk and Duhok in near future.
