Rwanga Foundation Provides Clothing Aid to Children in Need

ERBIL, Kurdistan (June 21st, 2017) - Rwanga Foundation, with the support of private donors, distributed clothes to children in need to make them happy, even if only for a while.

Moving to ease the hard life of poor children and their families, Rwanga Foundation gave 130 kids new clothes (67 girls and 63 boys). The kids were aged between 4-12 years old and, they were from 64 families.

One of the mothers who brought her two young daughters, including a disabled one, was happy about the clothing aid and stated ''My husband is disabled, and he cannot work. We were struggling to buy new clothes to our kids. This support  came in a good time, and my kids are happier now''.

''The items included a shirt and a pair of shoes.'' Ari Aladdin, Senior Field Officer at Rwanga Foundation said. He also added '' the donation was aimed at alleviating the sufferings of the poor families.''

Rwanga Foundation's main focal areas are Education, Youth, Environment and Vulnerable Groups. The total beneficiaries from the projects are over 1,133,721.
