ERBIL, Kurdistan // July 30, 2015 — Food items provided by the Claremont Group were distributed by Rwanga staff to around 300 IDP families (1,800 individuals) in Ainkawa District at Harsham Camp.
In continuing efforts to assist vulnerable families in Kurdistan — one of Rwanga’s primary focus areas — Rwanga Foundation often partners with companies and organizations to deliver and distribute both food and non-food items to IDPs and refugees.
Rwanga Foundation was the first local organization to deliver aid to Yazidis trapped on Mount Sinjar while under siege by Daesh militants in August 2014.
