SULAIMANI, Kurdistan — On Sunday, August 31, 2015, in continuing to assist IDPs in Sulaimani governorate Rwanga distributed non-food aid items to IDP families. The aid distribution was part of a contribution made from Rwanga’s parner Wings of Help (LOG) organization earlier in 2015.
Total number of beneficiaries included 380 families (about 2,600 individuals) predominantly from the areas of Ramadi and Shingal. The IDPs benefited are located in Takia sub-district and Aghjalar sub-district, which host 300 and 80 families respectively.
Three-hundred packages of clothes and 50 kitchen sets were distributed to the IDP families located in Takia. Aghjalar sub-district received 80 packages of clothes and 80 kitchen sets for the 80 IDP families.
