DUHOK, Kurdistan — On Thursday, September 3, 2015, food and non-food aid items were distributed to IDPs in Sharia, a sub-district in Duhok governorate.
Aid items including shoes, stationary and toys, were initially collected and donated by an Italian NGO Music for Peace, and benefited a total of 5,845 Yazidi IDPs in Sharia.
Rwanga Foundation and Music for Peace first began collaborating on aid distributions to Yazidis in late August 2015, and have completed multiple impactful distributions to those most in need.
