ERBIL, Kurdistan — Today Rwanga Foundation donated more (non-food) aid items to the Ministry of Peshmerga Affairs. Rwanga has coordinated donations through the KRG ministry since June 2014.
The Ministry of Peshmerga Affairs will go on to distribute the non-food aid, including 181 tents, 306 kitchen sets, 144 mattresses, 734 blankets and 300 shirts, to Peshmerga at various locations on the front line.
Two other food donations were made directly through the Ministry of Peshmerga Affairs by Rwanga Foundation, which consisted of food items and water. Since the early half of 2015, Rwanga has also directly supported the families of martyred Peshmerga with financial contributions, and which will be received by a total of 1,200 families in Kurdistan.
