Rwanga Foundation with Lara Private School provided full equipment to an indoor playground, arranged a library with books and provided the necessary equipment to Art Room inside JIM-NET House.
JIM-NET House is a newly-built house that constructed by Japan Iraq Medical Network (JIM-NET) inside the compound of Nanakaly Hospital.
Earlier this year, Lara School in partnership with Rwanga Foundation held a fundraising festival to support kids with cancer. At the end of the festival $8,000 were collected.
After the fundraising festival, a team from Rwanga Foundation in coordination with Lara Private School had multi visited Nanakaly Hospital in order to conduct an assessment. ‘’ We found out that due to the hot weather in summer, kids with cancer could not use the outdoor playground of the hospital. Also, the newly-build house needed equipment for kids library and class and art rooms.’’ said Ari A. Rajab, Senior Program Coordinator at Rwanga Foundation.
