Sulaimani, KURDISTAN - (October 11,2019) – Rwanga Foundation, funded by a private donor organized one day full of activities and shopping for 82 orphan kids in Sulaimani Governorate.
The 82 orphans were from both genders aged between 7 and 15 years old, who lost one or both of their parents.Through financial support of a private donor, we decided to spend a day with the orphans.
Starting at 10 am, the kids had been gathered at the Team Institute, where they had been briefed on the day. The kids had been taken to a shopping mall where they first had a special lunch prepared for them. After having some good food, the children gained enough energy to have two hours of fun at a game zone. With that being done and now with enough concentration to focus, the children were taken to a clothing shop, where they had the free options of choosing clothes and shoes according to their taste of fashion. To grant the kids a rest, they were taken to one of the Mall’s restaurants and could munch a bit and gain some new energy. The entire day ended at 7pm where again they received one more last gift consisting of a school bag filled with all necessary school stationary items.
This activity was funded by a private donor.
