Rwanga Foundation, on the event of International Women’s Day on 8 March 2014, gifted a group of female Kurdish Syrian Refugees from 4 different refugee camps who are under the protection of the Erbil Governorate, and distributed 40 sewing machines among them.
The purpose of this gift is to encourage these displaced females, by providing the sewing machines, to become financially self-sufficient by using their own skills.
These displaced females are dispersed in the camps of Dara shakran, Basirma, Kawargosk and Qushtapa within the Governorate of Erbil.
