Sulaimani, KURDISTAN (December 13, 2018)- Rwanga Foundation, in coordination with the Kurdistan Union for People with Special Needs, provides 122 students in Sulaimani with cash and school requirements in order to support their continuous education.
Due to poverty, problematic circumstances and the current economic situation many families who have family members (students) with special needs cannot effort basic school items like school uniforms/winter outfits, shoes and basic stationary.
The main aim was to provide them in both physical and financial ways in order to keep and even push their motivation to continue their educational path.
Amanj Kakarash, Head of Sulaimani Rwanga Office stated ” These 122 students have special needs. We cannot let exclusion happen because of basic school requirements since education is one of the most important tools in every person’s life and future. It’s not only to provide them with these items, but maybe more to encourage the students to learn.”
Saman Hussain,General Director of the Kurdistan Union for People with Special Needs - Sulaimani, added:” Since a number of students had left or missed out school due to their low financial capacity, we appreciate Rwanga Foundation’s quick response to our request. We are happy that these students haven’t been left unheard.”
