Rwanga Foras Delivers Free Trainings to Seed Foundation

ERBIL & DUHOK, Kurdistan (November 1st , 2017) - Rwanga Foras, in partnership with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), held a customized training for Seed  Foundation's staff in "Effective Communication and Time Management".

SEED Foundation, a local registered charity organization in the Kurdistan Region-Iraq, is implementing a variety of projects across Kurdistan and was founded by Sherri Kraham Talabany and Tanya Gilly-Khailany in 2014. SEED Foundation’s Board of Directors is made up of international women with high expertise in a range of professions, who are all committed to Kurdistan equitable, sustainable development and to addressing the humanitarian challenges Kurdistan faces today. "We are so grateful for the high-quality management training conducted for SEED’s growing team by Rwanga Foundation, as part of the IFC’s Business Edge Program. This two-day training was invaluable for our staffs, as they learned ways to strengthen communications and time management, as well as how to plan and lead effective meetings, all important skills for a professional NGO." said Sherri Kraham Talabany, SEED's President and Executive Director.

"We, as a group of trainers from Rwanga Foundation, made an assessment to the Seed Foundation in late of August, and after a continuous discussion the group decided to deliver a Business Edge training under the title of (Communicating Effectively and Managing Time) for the staff of Seed Foundation." Goran Rasool , one of the trainers stated.

The training was delivered in Duhok and Erbil, where SEED Foundation's staff participated.

Goran also stated that :"The participants were engaged with the topics and the materials of the training course through open discussions, various activities and sharing ideas!"

''It is my first time taking this training and I found it very helpful to develop my professional life. The training gave me a clear image on how to accept and take feedback, also on managing time properly. Moreover, the topics were very useful, so I can use the skills and apply in my personal life!'' said Hunar Asaf, one of the trainees.

The training was delivered in partnership with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), which has over six decades of experience increasing opportunities. It also has a long history of designing skills programs, to improve management capacities and business performances. Internationally, IFC has access to around 500 trainers and 91 highly skilled training providers, who have delivered similar trainings to more than 200,000 individuals across 64 countries.
