Erbil, KURDISTAN - (October 19, 2019), Rwanga Foundation jointly with the International School of Choueifat distributed school equipment for first and second grade students in Erbil.
As the new school year 2019-2020 started on 21 September, The International School of Choueifat collected 350 school kits to distribute them in a school to support the students in a poor neighborhood by providing them with the necessary school kits. On 19 October 2019 Rwanga Foundation jointly with the International School of Choueifat’s and their students distributed the items to 328 first and second grade students (boys and girls) in Rezhaw Basic School in Shawes district.
Also, Rwanga Foundation, in coordination with Carrefour and Korek Telecom, implemented an environmental project in two schools in Erbil city. The project covered cleaning, painting outdoor walls and planting trees in the two schools. The aim of the project was providing a clean and suitable environment for the students with the beginning of the new school year.
