On 23 February 2014, Rwanga Foundation was present for the ground-breaking which took place to establish a prefabricated six-classroom kindergarten in Dara Shakran Camp as part of Rwanga’s contribution and burden-sharing with the government and other humanitarian agencies. This initiative is to assist in expanding Syrian refugee children’s ability to learn and be educated in a better environment and being provided with a better future instead of becoming depressed or becoming street kids at a later time.
